Modest DBD

This is what I wore today. I had a doctor's appointment and a few other errands to run so I dressed a little nicer than usual. It was also a relatively warmer day and so I didn't feel like I needed leggings or anything to get by. I'm finding that I actually prefer the knee socks to the leggings as a rule. Granted, leggings are going to be unquestionably warmer, but I find having multiple waistbands really frustrating and annoying, so I went today and invested in several pairs of different colored knee socks. Also, I just seem to always feel much frumpier with the leggings + socks + skirt on top scenario and the goal here is not to feel frumpy! This was a really comfortable outfit. Not awesome for having blood drawn, but having blood drawn is never awesome in my opinion. Of course, I nearly fainted and my husband had to walk me to the car because I didn't think I could do it by myself. Good news is, of course, that it's over with. I'm always looking to the bright side! Also, I got a laugh out of the nurse when I jokingly asked her to leave some for me. :)
